THE BEST I'VE FELT IN YEARS
I’m in my 30’s, I was diagnosed with Supraventricular Tachycardia. My cardiologist put me on a beta blocker, which helped but I was still having issues. I didn’t like not going on hikes with my husband, being nervous to travel, etc. Plus, there had to be a reason WHY my heart was acting up. I did a lot of research on the web, and kept reading about gluten and the heart. I asked my allergist and cardiologist – they said that gluten doesn’t affect the heart. I believed them.
Months later – still having heart issues, I was still discouraged. I called Carlson Chiropractic Center after hearing about how they were helping people with allergies. It was eye opening! They reinforced everything that I had been reading about gluten. Their emphasis is in Internal Diagnosis. They ran tests and confirmed what I was already suspecting, I had food sensitivities to gluten (wheat), dairy, apples, and a couple of other things. We took those items (plus white sugar) out of my diet and added in some supplements. The first 9 days, I craved the food like crazy! My heart wasn’t happy those first 9 days, I was very lightheaded, heart palpitations, etc. and I was about to give up the new diet changes. Then day 10 and onward – I felt great! Seriously, the best I’ve felt in years! My heart is strong, my IBS is gone, my depression is gone, and I’m not worried about when the next episode will be. I’m thankful every day to Carlson Chiropractic for helping me find the reason why my heart was acting up. — Megan S.

A JOURNEY THAT COULDN'T WAIT
Last January, like so many years before, my resolution was to lose weight and take better care of myself. I joined my friends in a Biggest Loser Contest. I gave up pop, ate a little healthier, and started exercising when I had extra time. I did manage to lose about 10 pounds, but I still felt lousy and I was stuck as far as weight loss went. Then I saw an ad on Facebook for a nutrition class offered by Carlson Chiropractic. It was free so I grabbed a friend and we signed up.
Everything that they described in their presentation could have been directed right at me. However, the cost stopped me. Let’s be honest, it’s not cheap. So I went home and thought about it for 3 days. On the 4th day when I woke up with yet another headache I decided my health was worth the money. It ended up being the best money I’ve ever spent, and I’d do it again in a minute.
They started me on a program that was tailored to my needs. Once we got my blood work back, she tweaked my program. I’m not going to lie, it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but it has been so worth it! I feel amazing and I’m losing weight. I told her my goal was to run a 5K. Not only have I accomplished my goal, I’ve run, walked, skipped, even danced my way through 8 5K’s and one 5 mile run. I could have never done this before. I didn’t have the energy. I can’t even begin to describe how good it feels to not only feel good, but to have people tell me that I am an inspiration to them. I am far from my goal, but that’s ok. This is not a quick fix, it’s a lifelong journey and it’s a journey I’m glad I didn’t wait another minute to start! — Susan M.

ABOVE AND BEYOND
Since having kids, I’ve had a lot of back and neck issues. It seems every time I move or try to keep up with my kids, the pain starts flaring up again. I was taking pain relief medication constantly and had had enough. I called the doctor and they really went above and beyond to help me out. LIVING A PAIN-FREE LIFE
I love Carlson Chiropractic because I’m now pain free! Prior to my first visit I had back pain for about 10 years. After regular adjustment and some exercise I’m pain free. If for some reason you go in talking about a pain you now have they’ll make an adjustment you never knew could be done and, wow, pain free again! HEADACHES DISAPPEAR AFTER 2 VISITS
I was a skeptic about chiropractic care. My son had to Carlson Chiropractic Center for back pain. He convinced me to go to see if anything could be done about my frequent migraine type headaches. It took two visits for my headaches to disappear and they have not returned. The really interesting thing is that I have been deaf in my right ear for all or most of my life, but since I have been getting adjustments I have hearing sensation in my right ear. I cannot hear voices but I do hear noise. That was something completely unexpected. — Amy T.
